I'm Texas born and raised. I grew up right here in the communities north of Houston, spent a good stretch of my life away, then came home not long ago and got to see it all with fresh eyes.
Here's what I noticed coming back. From the outside, this whole area blurs into one place. Once you're up here, you see how different every community is. Lake Conroe lives at the water's pace. The Woodlands is walkable and close to everything. Woodforest and Bridgeland are whole new towns taking shape. A house is easy to find up here. The real work is knowing which of these communities fits how you want to live.
